Two birth systems
Saju and Western astrology both begin with birth data. They do not calculate the same objects, so a useful combined reading compares patterns and tensions instead of pretending every element equals a planet or sign.
Quick answer
Saju organizes a birth through four pillars, yin and yang, and the Five Elements. Western astrology maps planets through signs, houses, and aspects. Used together, they can test whether a theme appears in both systems and show where each system adds a different layer.

Compare the lived theme, not just the label. Strong outward expression may appear through a Saju relationship among elements and through prominent Fire or angular planets in astrology, but those are separate calculations. Agreement strengthens a theme; disagreement can reveal context or an inner-versus-outer split.
The Five Elements are not interchangeable with the four classical elements, and a Day Master is not a Sun sign. A combined reading should identify the source of every claim and explain how the two observations relate.
Use both when you want a broad personal portrait or when one system's vocabulary feels too abstract. The comparison is especially useful for recurring work, relationship, and decision patterns. It still does not guarantee an event or replace practical evidence.
